I NEVER write comments or reviews but I felt the need to do this based upon my experience with this HORRIBLE apartment experience. My boyfriend and I moved here in September and it has been absolutely horrible. The mangement staff (Woodward Properties) is rude and could care less about assisting you. (Eileen especially) The rent price is low ($710 for a 1 bedroom and very spacious) Also they try to bribe you with heat and hot water inculded but let me just tell you it's not worth it. This apartment has a HORRIBLE mouse problem.. So bad we had to buy a cat. It also has a roach problem. There is also a drug problem because all you smell is weed throughout the halls. You have NO CONTROL over the heat so it feels like a sauna in the apartment. We constantly have to leave windows open. AND to top it off I came home late last week and there was a homeless man sleeping inside the apartment door front entrance. The elevator breaks down EVERY weekend which forces you to take the stairs which are dark and unsafe.. Please consider this a warning. We have NO CHOICE but to wait out this lease but trust me if there is ANY way we can get out of it we will. I would not recommend this place to ANYONE!!!

I agree. Everything said here is true. Yes, it is close to campus and the apartments are spacious, but there is a mouse problem. the elevator does always break down, there are homeless people living in the lobby, and absolutley the management staff is rude. They never fix what you ask them to, they don't tell you when they come in your apartment to fix something, they don't respond to complaints, and the rent goes up with every lease. Please reconsider before you move into this apartment complex, there have to be better ones out there.

I used to live in this apartment as well two years ago and they still haven't changed (including Eileen and her rudeness) to say the least. The two commenters hit it right on the button regarding the homeless person in the lobby front door at night (scarY), the roaches, rude managemnt staff, and the elevator always breaking down. I loved Eileen's answer when I told her the light in my refridgerator was not on. Then she asked me, "Did you plug it in?" This was an example where countless times I wanted to knock the mess out of her. So that's my two cents and I'm so glad to be out of there. I should of known something when they asked for the deposit, the first month's rent and last month's rent. But I needed a place immediately coming from out of town. I would say no to this place, they should be managed by someone else.

I rented here 2001-2003 and the rent for a one bedroom in the main building was $710 then!! Obviously the place is too disaterous and disgusting to raise the rent since 2001.
RIDICULOUS. The place should be torn down.
