i really have nothing but good things to say about beekman place. looked around quite a bit when I first moved to philly and what struck me about this place that was different was that the management was SO NICE. as opposed to the rude seeminlgy incompetent folks peppered throughout the area. Service goes far and beyond expectations; the prior manager (who unfortunately retired, but the new person seems very nice as well) would take care of my cat whenever I needed to go away. She seemed to remember everyone by name, always asking how are you etc etc.
The maintenance guys are always helpful as well, very prompt, courteous, professional.
Parking space seems limited at first (you can get a spot in a garage for extra $$) but it's really qutie sufficient; I've only had a handful of occasions where I had to park on the street across from the complex.
The apartments are quiet, clean. The only "cons" about this place I could think of are: 1) slightly older kitchen cabinets, 2) no washer/dryer available in the rooms (every floor has some). Some people seemed to complain here that they can't watch TV because the neighbors complain' Personally I have not had a problem; I can see that if you have your TV situated closer to your neighbor, then it might cause problems, but I've never had to turn mine off because somebody complained about the noise. I think I'm grateful for the quiet, and would do my part in keeping things this way. odusyNYCcZ7yL3Bj5JtG
