Years at this apartment: 1998 - 2002
I lived there from 1998 to 2002 and chose this location because it was close to temple podiatry school. The good is that it has a restaurant and grocery store and dry cleaner in the building. the security looks safe because there is a doorman and you need a key to get in the lobby glass door plus you have a key for your apartment. The apartment I got was clean, in terms of the superfical things like new carpet, clean tiles. The bad: the apartment was dirty in terms of the windows, stuff under the fridge. The place freezes in winter because look at it, the place is so old and so the windows are thin!! A lot of senior citizens lived there while I did, I guess they were the dying breed of old philadelphia, they kept the place friendly and quiet, I liked that for studying, but they all are dying off and now you get nothing but Jefferson residents who party whenever they change a rotation, so now the music is louder, and if the resident gets home at 4 am expect to hear them. IF you do decide to live here, get a roomate and atleast make the rent cheaper. Overall a 7/10.
