I picked this place because I wanted to be close to Jefferson hospital as possible. I had heard good and bad things, but after I moved in I found that it was very clean and the security and front desk people were very nice and looked out for the residents. I get a lot of packages delivered and never have a problem.
Yes, the kitchen isn't a modern condo-styel kitchen, but I do have a new dishwasher and washer dryer that works great. As for noise, I was confused at previous posts because the ballroom is on the 2nd floor and they have seperate elevators and people don't live on those floors, my apartment is on the 5th floor and that is where the apartments start. Sure, I have seen wedding people in the lobby, but they don't bother anyone, security is pretty good at moving them along.
All in all, I have a washer/dryer, a dishwasher, a free gym, and no high gas bill (like my previous apartment!) and everyone so far has been extremely helpful and nice to me (and my little dog - they give them biscuits at the front desk). I got in on a special, so my rent is about average for this area. I don't have a car so I can't tell you about the parking. I haven't had too many repairs yet, but the few I had they responded same day and didnt leave a trail of dirt and tools (again, like my previous apartment.)
