Blue Grass Estates' biggest problem is its -----like management. If you've ever seen the x-files episode "Arcadia" you know what I'm talking about. These people are obsessed with order and rules, however when you need them to do anything in your apartment, it takes forever. And when it comes to you and your comfort of living, they couldn't care less. They hold apartment "inspections" twice a year to make sure you're the type of person they think should be living there. When I moved in, I told them I have a sleep disorder and wanted a quiet place to live. They told me this was the place. I believed them at first because I was in a top floor apartment on the end of the building and there were only four apartments in there. Little did I know that the other three apartments contained a crazy domestic-violence couple, a paranoid old lady across the hall and an even older lady down below who slept during the day and stayed up all night watching tv on TOP VOLUME! When I asked the office to do something about this, they refused because they were all long-term tenants and I was just a new one. Then, later on, I awoke to the sound of my bedroom window being opened by a man on a ladder! Again, they did nothing. And when I asked if my neighbor could pick up my pool tag for me they said no way and made it into a federal case. Nazis all the way.

Management is the main reason I left, aside from the noise. My apartment was huge for the rent, I had a nice view and easy access to buses, shopping and restaurants. I would recommend it as a nice place to live, but be very wary of the management.
