I've lived here for two years- am moving out at the end of the month. It's a beautiful loft, but the management company stinks. I lived in Manahattan for seven years before this and my getting things done by maintenance was a breeze comparitively. I think it's probably because they are renovating the apts into condos, they don't care if we don't have heat or our dryer only has cold air.
Worst of all is the fact that the floors and ceilings are just what you see- no insulation at all. I have heard my upstairs neighbor wake up, pass gas, urinate, shower, put his shoes on, every morning for two years. My husband and I can imitate his girlfriend and he having sex!
Obviously, these were not built well- beautiful to look at, not to live in.
And the prices are SKYROCKETING!!
