Not many problems

Years at this apartment: 1998 - 1999
These apartments were actually pretty nice. Elevator to each floor, free heat, clean, good maintenance.
We hated the area. There was a 7-11 across the street and 9 out of 10 times we drove somewhere else because it was scary. The apartments were very secure though.
They had 24 hour secure parking which was the deciding factor for us between these and some other apartments. We had our car broke into 3 times - the year we were there !!! Don't make the mistake of this being your deciding factor.
The fitness room that you pay an extra charge for is a disgrace. I think 3 different machines and not worth a penny - Join a Gym.
The laundry was sufficent but they locked it every night from 9pm. This was a little early for us considering we mostly got home at 7-8pm. The weekends were busy.
There was one time that we were introduced to a strange rule. I had ironed a shirt for the next day and had hung it on the curtain rod. The window was closed and the blinds were down but not shut all the way. Later that day we got a call from the office to say that they could see something hanging from the curtain rod and it was a violation of the lease !!!! Bear in mind we were on the 3rd floor.
I think this place was excellent value for money but the area was awful. If you can find something closer to Jenkingstown/ Abington - Go there instead.
