Man, if I would have read the comments before I moved here, it would have saved me a huge hassle. First let me tell you that all of the past comments are true!!! The dead body, the parking, the electric, the high rent...ALL TRUE. I am breaking my lease in 3 months, and it's outlined in my lease as one months rent to break it early, but management says, nope it's 2 months...Hah! When it's in black and white and signed...you can't argue with that. Yes they are scammers and money hungry. They are now letting trash reside here (now that they are accepting subsidized rent). Parking is terrible, especially on the weekends. That convienience store accross the street is not so convienient! There is always a lot of cop activity over there. Management sucks! So does maintenance! There is always a roach problem, but as a convienience, they offer extermination EVERY Tuesday (LOL). Oh and get this...because of the quality of human life around here, they have restricted ALL residents' access to the fitness room. Some fools were down there using it as their personal party room and left all kinds of things behind, beer bottles, cigarettes, etc. Now the hours are 6 PM through Midnight Monday Through Friday, with no private key access anymore. Do you know why those are the hours' Because that's the only time security is there now (and all day Saturday and Sunday)If you are anything like me, the best time to work out is early in the morning (around 6 AM) to get your day going. And by the way, there are four buildings, and the fitness room is only in one building...the A building. The only nice things about this place...The living room is huge, the pool is nice, and the surrounding area is nice...oh and Herb is the only decent security gaurd there. He actually cares about the residents...the only one who would help me with the door if he would see me struggling with bags. All of the others will look up at you and then continue reading or sleeping. As far as laundry goes...Go to the LAUNDROMAT! There is one laundry room with 4 washers and 4 dryers, if any are broke...don't count on it to be a sign displayed and once reported don't expect it to be fixed any time soon. They use a card system that is only reloadable in the office or at the security office...very inconvienient! You can NOT use dollar bills, it only takes $5, $10 or $20 bills...no $1 bills. Each washer and dryer is $1.35 and they are pretty small. The dryers don't allow you to select how long your clothes dry for, the $1.35 will give you 60 minutes, so if they're still not dry, it's another $1.35 and 60 minutes. Like I said...just go to the Laundromat, it's not worth the hassle. I'm in a 2 bed 2 bath, rent is $900 my electric is not as high as previous posters have said, I guess they fixed that problem, it's usually about $76 on average. A month after I had moved in my electric bill said $256 and I called to complain, but ever since then I haven't had that problem. As expensive as this rent is, you should get quality! Trust me...this is NOT quality living. The Bromley House is not a good place to live and I will be breaking my lease in 3 months, I just can't take it anymore. AD2Hw9Wn8Umb3NN1w1jt
