caveat rentor From: javits2000 Date posted: 8/16/2006 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2006   I lived at the Chestnut Arms, 4039 Chestnut St., maintained by Campus Apartments. Some aspects are good, such as prompt service when maintenance problems occur (and this is fairly often). But there are many drawbacks. My apartment had roaches and mice, and the (very occasional) extermination service was useless. On many occasions the front door was broken and it could take days before it was fixed. The alarm system is faulty, so be prepared for middle-of-the-night fire alarms for no reason. More frustrating still: petty charges against rent deposit. I left the place spotless after spending three days cleaning and was charged for cleaning nevertheless.
