I am a tenant a Cantebury apartments and I agree that the place looks nice until after you sign the lease then everything changes. First my sister lived at another one of their facilities and she was stuck up at gun point and pulled into the hallway of the apartment building. When she informed the leasing people they did not do anything. She wanted to change apartment building and they told her there was nothing available and they did not inform the other tenants of this incident. From my experience at Canterbury, the staff is rude, the maintenance people smell like weed when they come to your home. They do not leave notes when they come into your apartment and you have to keep calling if you want something fixed. The first day we moved into the apartment we saw a roach, then more started coming. We complained for a whole six months and they tried to say we brought them there. Then they gave us boric acid to put down ourselves and it did not work. Finally after many complaints, they came and took care of the problem. THis is the worse place I have ever lived and the staff makes it worse. They are a mother and daughter team that are very unprofessional. They yell and scream if you have any type of problem in the apartment. Soon I will be free of this place onec the lease is up, but I feel it's my duty to warn others.
