So far, so good

I have been in this apartment for about 3mo now, and I have to say that I am enjoying it. My studio has been newly remodeled and it is absolutely beautiful! My request to have an AC installed was answered the very same day.
One compliant, and I think that others have made this one as well, is with the elevators. Why, oh why do they constantly break' A building with 24 floors should have more than one elevator working on a consistent basis. Plus the elevators are really small so it can only fit about 6 people.
The neighboorhood could use some improvement as well. During the day it is fine, but as the song goes "The Freaks Come Out At Night". These people never bother you, however. They seem lost in their own world and I have seen a stronger Police presence around there, so I don't feel endangered in any way.
If you are moving here, here is a suggestion...be nice to everybody! I mean from security, to maintanence, to the people in the offices. Make sure they know who you are. I found that this is a way to make sure your requests are answered quickly. Also, if you have business to take care of with the leasing office. Go and talk in person. If you call, I promise you WILL get the run around.
