The inside looks like a something out of a horror movie, the night doorman are always sleeping on the job. The pipes make clanging noises when you trying to sleep. I live on one of the higher floors and I guess since the building/windows are old it sounds like you outside on the street. This is especially a problem when the Irish Pub crowd lets out or when the cafe across the street decided to have an impromtu late night outdoor concert. They often turn off the water for "upgrading" to the system and there is a pest problem, probably due to the fact that they don't have a trash shoot so everyones trash just sits in a closet in the hallway.
