Enjoy ghetto living' If you do, then go ahead and waste 800 dollars a month in this ---- hole. So, where do I begin....

This place STINKS. No I dont mean it sucks, I mean it smells like garbage. Its either that, or its the dead rats in the walls of the building. You?ll see what I mean when you use the service elevator for the first time....hold your breath. Once you get into your room, theres that pleasant aroma of gas that leaks out of the stove. Pests are a HUGE problem in C.H. Countless numbers of stories of the rat infestation in the building. Roaches are also a problem and I happened to find one crawl out of my sink one evening. How the hell it got in the drainage system, I have no clue. The walls appear to have about 20 layers of white paint...Im going to have to believe its their attempt to cover up the lead based paint. Yes, there is LEAD in the old paint which these friggin morons should have removed. When I moved in, the place was dirty...the toilet bowl was stained SH*TTY, the oven still oily and dirty, the bath tub was scummy. The windows didnt close all the way. Oh yah, if your room happens to be facing the back of the building, you wont be needing an alarm clock. Why you ask' Cuz the damn garbage people will make sure to wake your ass up around 5 am a few times a week. Make sure you only have cheap electrical appliances and equipment because the power surges that occur in the wiring have blown out computers, lamps, T.V.?s. If it happens to you, dont bother bugging the management cuz its NEVER the fault of the apartment. Lastly, if youre a psych major, this is the place for you. There are plenty of schizos meandering around the building for you to observe. They tend to like to gather in the lobby.

My suggestion is to NOT move here, however, it being one of the few apartments in a relatively safe area near U of Penn and Drexel, its an unfortunate option. SROlYjGrgm2VnM-SactV
