Don't ever live here!

I moved in to Chestnut Hall last August...had heard some bad things about it, but I thought the location was good and the rent was ok...how bad could it be, right''' BIG MISTAKE. Living here has been the worst experience of my life! No joke.
The management here is SO mean. They treat you like you're in prison (not much of stretch), not like you're a tenant. I have had so many problems with my apartment (they didn't have a garbage disposal unit when I moved it, I didn't have cable for 2 months because of a problem with their wiring, my bathroom was flooded by water at least three times) and when you go to report a problem, not only do they take forever to do anything, and only put in the most basic fix that will fail again in 2 weeks, but they'll make it seem like you don't even have a right to live in a clean, functioning apartment.
The building has tons of other problems. During the winter, the heat comes and goes, so you're stuck shivering for hours sometimes with no heat. Really bad plumbing. They charge you a $75 lockout fee if you ever lock yourself out...and if you want a second key, you have to pay $100 to get one. The best part: god forbid you lock yourself out after 6PM, you'll have to wait for at least 2 hours for a maintenance guy who lives in NJ to come unlock your apartment. And don't forgot the lockout fee! Have fun living here!
