Aside from this apartment being extremely old and crappy, the woman at the front desk from the afternoon to late at night is the biggest jackass in the world. She has so much attitude it is ridiculous. Everytime you walk into the apartment she demands to see your keys (which is a horrible rule in itself) and if she happens to not see it she lets out a big "EXCUSE ME" like you are trespassing on private property. She would be better suited as a prison guard than an apartment front desk person. Just remember that you will have to deal with her more than anyone else because she is on shift when you come back from school/work or from dinner. And I've heard many people say they don't like her. In addition, when I stepped into my apartment for the first time it was absolutely filthy and the refrigerator had numerous broken shelves. And the freaking magnet that holds the mirror in the bathroom was held on by a piece of Scotch tape! What the hell is that' They know once you're stuck in a lease that they can do whatever the hell they feel like. The heating system cannot be controlled, so you will have to open a window or even turn on the air conditioner during the winter when it gets up to about 85 in your room. I would never think of resigning for another year in this place, and you should actually consider that bad things people write about this POS apartment because it is actually quite true.
