Are you kidding me'''' Rude service, maintenance problems, residents trapped in an elevator for hours and the maintenance men (who took over an hour to respond) had to call the fire department, rats, broken heating, broken air conditioners, leaky bathrooms, CARS STOLEN/BROKEN INTO and roaches are extremely, EXTREMELY, good reasons to complain. I am glad you have it good in your apartment, which gives us more or a reason to complain. Why should only a few residents have it good' We are all paying and not all receiving good treatment. And don't you worry...I am leaving too!!! Just like so many have. Did you happen to notice all the empty apartments' I feel as though I have a duty to warn those against this place. By the way, the man trapped in the elevator had a medical condition and was rushed to the hospital....yeah, tell me not to complain!!! I am warning...not complaining. I wasted/lost my deposit on this HELL HOLE!!!! It is dangerous to live in such a place. Roaches and rats spread disease. Dirty air conditioner filters and mold (the mold was growing from under the paint) cause allergens. It is great fun to have allergies year round due to the management neglecting repairs. And to be deceitful tops it off. The model apartment looks nothing like the apartment you rent. That is just WRONG!!! I was embarrassed to have friends over because roaches would join us under the dinner table. YUCK!!!! I am not trying to give Chestnut Hill Village a bad reputation. I just think that people deserve better service, honesty and to be treated with respect. By the way, my friend did not get $200 of his deposit back because he did not get the carpets cleaned before moving out.

Couldn't agree more with almost all of the previous responses. Whoever wrote quit your complaining is clearly involved with the management of this sorry complex. I've lived in apartments throughout this city and this country, and this is BY FAR the worst I've ever lived in. Way too much money, for zero service.
