OHMIGOD! MICE!!!!!!!!

Okay, I am trying to be as objective as possible. I moved here from NY, so I was pretty used to paying the $850 for rent for a 1 BR...I actually fell in love with the space of the apartment and the floorplan....
BUT there are several things that I WISH I knew prior to signing that lease....
#1 - Chestnut Hill has a number of apartments set aside as a residentail "group home" for adult mental health/drug treatment program.
#2 - As soon as the fall hit, COLLEGE students everywhere....I feel like I'm living in a frat house at times...particularly earlier today when I saw the remnants of some PUKE FEST in the hallway downstairs - YUCK
#3 - No place is immune to crime, but there have been several car breakins lately....To the VIllage's defense...they did install better lighting in the parking lot....
#4 - The renovations....haha....they are taking forever to complete....I'm sure they'll look nice for a while...but you can't renovate trifling a$$ neighbors that are nasty and leave garbage in the halls....
#5 - Once the school season hit....parking became VERY SCARCE!
#6 - THIS IS MY MAIN ISSUE.....I have seen no roaches at all...but I saw a MOUSE in my apartment. That is the first time I have even seen a mouse. I keep my kitchen spotless...and the thought that I am sharing my space with RODENTS....I can't tell you how much I want to get out of here. I can't take mice....I'm sorry....I'm paying too much fuccin money to have to deal with mice! EEEEWWWW the thought is making me cringe! I call maintenance and they tell me to call the office and have the technicians come out and seal off holes, install a door sweep, and lay sticky traps....I'm wondering why in the hell they didn't seal the holes and install the door sweeps BEFORE i moved in'''!!! YUCK!
I cannot wait until my lease is up....then I'M OUT!!!!
