While people here seem to be posting just the bad news...so far so good.

1. The convenience of this location cannot be beat. 20 mintues by car or train to center city. The train in a 3 minute walk

2. The management staff is extremely responsive, to minor and slightly major issues in a very timely manner.

3. Crime. Are you kidding me' This ain't New York City, that's for sure, which now has a Disney World like feel. Philly has a HUGE crime issue and will continue to have one until the State and Local Government have a close look into their city of brotherly love. Unless you move out to Bucks county well..there is a risk of being a target anywhere in this town after dark. There have been some publicized muggings in August and complaints about car vandelism around the same time, but people are getting held up at gunpoint in the very best areas in center city.
Take your pick.

4. Lighting Outside- A Downer -They need a better lighting system. It's damn dark in the lot.

5. They could hire a Security Agent to drive the property after 11pm..that would be very cool, in fact...it would be a bigger selling point that the renovations.

6. Sales staff is a bit ditsy. Yeah...they are there to get you into the apartment. You need to follow up.

It's a great location. The shopping is in your back yard.
They actually have a pool and it's close to the city and Chestnut hill is a great area.

And if you do get mugged...Chestnut Hill hospital is right around the corner, and it's a great hospital.

This new resident has had a good experience with mgmt responsiveness, but as someone who has been here 4 years, I have had MANY instances of things NOT getting taken care of properly. When you call and leave a voicemail, it is often ignored. Lately they don't even answer during the business day. You call x3600 during a workday and hear "Thank you for calling the after-hours line..." I know people reading this will think I'm a crank but you need to understand, I have been SO patient and understanding with them, not expecting perfection but at least competence, and usually don't get even basic competence.
