I love living here!

I have lived in CHV for almost 2 months and I absolutely love it here. And no, I'm not someone on the management staff posing as a resident. I moved here from an apartment located in Mt. Airy.
Sure, the rent here is a little higher than I was paying at my last apartment but it is also 200 sq. ft. bigger. I have had to contact maintenance a few times (a couple light bulb replacements, my heat went out for a moment and the garage disposal backed up) HOWEVER, they responded within 24 hours and after each visit, they emailed me with a survey/comment card asking me if I was satisfied with my service.
The hallways are clean, the laundry rooms are immaculate, there is ample parking in and around the parking lots, buildings and side streets...if you have mice, roaches, etc., you might want to check your personal hygiene habits or your neighbor's hygiene habits.
Not to mention, this place is in a great location - with regards to the person who wrote that CHV is "right up the street from the ghetto" well, it's Philly - everywhere is right up the street from the ghetto. You have your nicer neighborhoods, and your not-so-nice neighborhoods all throughout the city.
If you're looking to move into the Chestnut Hill area, this place is totally worth checking out. Sure, read the reviews but at least make the effort to see it for yourself. You may find that you really like the place.
