My wife and I lived here for 13 months, just as the renovations were really ramping up. While I did not like the idea of increasing rents and moving people around, I understood the reasons behind it. Fortunately, we did not get effected directly by the renovations. However, the side effects of it (construction at odd hours, dust, loud noises) were common place. And for those hoping the elevators will be fixed - 13 months there and it worked for like 3 months total.

We did not experience the rodent issues other have mentioned. I cant believe we were that lucky, but I will assume we didnt have any mice or rats living with us, instead of thinking that we just never saw them.

My main complaints were with maintenance and management. Several times we had service requests, some very serious, like water pouring in from the upstairs dishwasher, that were slowly or poorly addressed. It took many a call to have both big and small issues resolved.

Also, the utility bills were never as clear as the front office made them seem. It seemed like the bills were always a few months behind and at any time you could find out you owed a few hundred dollars for utilities.

We moved out 3 months ago and are still trying to get our deposit back - and our place was left in better condition than when we moved in. Management does not return calls. They put you on hold for 15 minutes at a time. You cannot get a straight answer from anyone. It just sad that you have to play games to be treated fairly. It's not worth legal action, but it is worth calling back and sitting on hold for a few hours, $500 is $500. Hope is works out soon because I want to be done with this place.
