Not only do we have a HUGE rodent infestation-- Caught 3 mice in three hours just two days ago-- and thats not counting the at least 20 others that we've caught in the past few months but everything else is just as bad. The elevator in our building NEVER works-- and now they are going to remodel it-- they say it will take 8 weeks.... but when the remodeled the laundry room it was supposed to take 3wks and about 2-3 months later it was finished... So when will the elevator really be fixed'''-- your guess is as good as mine. It is really inconvenient to not have an elevator when you live on the 3rd floor... On top of that, they randomly decide when they are going to shut off the water without notice to the residents-- just wonderful... The apartment in general REEKS horribly. I don't know if this is due to the extremely dirty residents that attract the rodents''' PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF!!!!!!!!!! Don't live here!!!! I am warning you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I completely agree. I am in the same situation. This place is a dump!

UGGGHH I have the same problems.... MICE MICE MICE! They are everywhere, and I am not a dirty person, there are just SO many holes in the heating registers, and around all the appliances that NOBODY fills before you move in..and the mice just squeeze in! And as far as the elevator goes... you'd think that since we have to use the stairs for the next year and half while they fix the elevator.... maybe it would be nice to not climb over foul smelling vomit that has been in there for the past 6 mos? But I mean that WOULD require maintenance to do work.... Just a thought!

POTENTIAL TENANTS: CONSIDER THE MANY THINGS THAT THE "LUXURY" RENOVATIONS WILL _NOT_ FIX: 1. Filthy slobs' trash all over the ground outside the dumpsters, attracting rodents. 2. Squirrels in the attics, which management knows all about, but they plan NOT to fix the squirrels' access to the attics, and they will forever pretend that the problem is news to them. 3. Heating systems that for years were breakdown-prone, seem to be patched up for now, but who can trust that this will last? 4. Idiots constantly propping open the exterior doors or breaking the exterior door locks because they're too lazy to use a key. Both residents and renovation subcontractors, it seems. 5. Old elevators prone to breakdowns being replaced merely with new elevators with defective programming that prevents their reasonable use. 6. Water shutoffs---dozens and dozens of them. 7. Shady lease wording that would be more straightforward if it just came out and said "you agree that we are the sole owners of your @ss." 8. Utility billing whose numbers and date ranges never quite make sense, month after month after month, and are most likely made-up BS. 9. Heavily and knowingly deceptive advertising. 10. Occasional false pretenses that maintenance is going to start doing preventive stuff, routine patrols, etc. Reality: If the lights in your stairwells are all blown out, the fire extinguishers are mostly stolen, and there's vomit in there, no one will initiate any changes to that situation except you. If you come sign a lease, you'll find out for yourself, and repent at your leisure...after you've had to move 60 days into your lease. This is what they mean by "Simply Superior Service"! But don't worry, because they're "sorry" for any inconvenience, and they "value" your business. Nevertheless, they think that you should check out the "luxury" of the new renovations, because you'll be pleased at how "competent" the company is.
