I have been disappointed with this apartment and management company over and over again, pretty much from the day I moved in. The first thing that really bothered me was this new "clubhouse" they were raving about as I took my tour. I moved in on September 6, 2008, with promises of the new clubhouse being completed by the end of the month. They were talking about the new state-of-the-art gym, movie theater, and lounge for tenants to hang out in. Well, it finally just opened in February 2009, and it's still not complete! They are missing equipment, the pool tables in the lounge aren't there, and the movie theater is nowhere near completion! So misleading! I chose this apartment - and the significantly higher rent - because of all these promised amenities. 6 months later and I STILL can't reap the benefit. I hear creatures in my ceiling at various times throughout the day, and nothing's been done about it. I'm being charge exhorbitant amounts of money for heat that I barely use. The walls are paperthin - I can hear my neighbor's phone ringing! I had a leak on the carpet in both my den AND my bedroom from the heat, and in order to fix the musty/moldy smell, they simply cut out that part of the carpet pad. The ONLY saving grace is that it's right next to the train station. This place is a huge ripoff, and management will tell you anything you want to hear to get you to sign the lease. Don't believe a word of it and stay away. I wish that I could break my lease and get out early, but it would cost me the remaining 6 months of my rent, and I can't afford that!

Oh my God, it's all true. The electric bill is a rip off. We are fuming. The electricity is through a third- party billing set up. Where one can not speak directly with anyone from the company. Oh, and by the way, the place(electric co. )If it really exist? Is in another state completely. Mice are all over the place. The noise is just in sane. Friday's and Saturdays, are very noisy nights. There is restaurant, The Platinum Grill, and they party until 3 or 4 o'clock in the morning. Gun shots, and suspicions of gang activity in the park in lot. Gun shots, that is right, gun shots , I have herd and others who reside here, coming from the noisy Friday and Saturday nights loud partying. We are hurt with the way the Big wheels use the little people(management) to do their dirty work FOR THEM AND RIP PEOPLE OFF TO PAY OFF THEIR DEBTS. STAY,STAY,STAY, AWAY OR YOU WILL BE SORRY.

Wrong. I'm complaining because it's just One of the MANY features that I was lied to about. I was told this was a safe community - no lights on the sidewalks, gun shots, shady characters, the "secure entry" is a joke. I was told this was a clean complex - mice in the ceiling (and God knows where else), trash everywhere. I was told the electricity/gas would never be over $60 a month - I've never paid LESS THAN $50! So yeah, maybe I am ungrateful. But I think that since I pay over $1000/month for these "promised" amenities, and they don't deliver, I have a right to be a little bit pissed off. What are you, management???

Bonnie1210, please let us know in what capacity you are involved with these apartments? You keep defending over and over this place whenever people gripe, so I think I and most would like to know what you are, management? Owner? And does anyone know the rumor I heard of a halfway house being in one of the buildings and if the safety/security is an issue? One more thing, that gym is most certainly NOT state of the art. I am a member at a real gym with working equipment, not outdated and out of order machines. Some work yes, it will do in a pinch, but in no way shape or form is it state of the art.
