Best Apartment Experience So Far. From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 10/8/2006 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2006   I have direct experience with three other realtors and apartments. This apartment surpasses my expectations. Beautiful apartment. I'm on the 4th floor, so I don't have any noise issues. Everything was fixed, but you have to keep on them. Important things like outlets, fixtures etc. will be fixed promptly. Cosmetic things may take longer. Safety was a huge concern at first, with three people getting broken into. But now they have a guard posted at the front door, and they replaced a few locks. Everyone has to show ID after dark to get in, and they check it against the lease list. I'm very satisfied with how they handled that. Everyone at the office is incredibly nice, the apartment is unbelievable. The only complaint I have: the elevator has been broken, and no one seems to know when it's going to get fixed. But considering I'm saving $150 a month in comparison with other people's prices, I'm not unhappy. It can't be perfect. But when that elevator is fixed, I think I will be MUCH happier. Parking is fine after 9. My boyfriend NEVER has a problem. We park right near the building, without circling endlessly like in University City. Safety isn't a worry. I'm a woman who works 2nd shift. The 42 bus drops me off right a block away, and it's a short walk. I'm not worried at all. And I certainly haven't heard gunshots. Students are easy prey. Be smart, and you'll be safe in this area. If anything people are friendlier. They look you in the eye and ask how you're doing, etc. 4 blocks east of here, it's like you're a leper.
