Like any place you live, there is good and bad. First, the good: The apartments are nice with new appliances, management is good and maintenance is really good.
The bad: The security guards are CREEPY - one once told me that it was cold outside, I should use him as a blanket. What's the point of paying extra for someone to protect your safety when they harass you more than random people on the street' The apartments are WAAAAAY overpriced, you can find a place just as nice and a lot bigger in a nicer center city neighborhood for hundreds less. The fire alarms - this may not sound like much before you live here, but they are out of control. For example, once we had fire alarms go off for two consecutive hours from 4am to 6am on a 10 degree night in February. I had a final the next day. When I complained to the management they told me "just don't go outside next time." First of all they are the loudest fire alarms you've ever heard and impossible to ignore and second of all, telling a tenant to ignore a fire alarm is a huge liability and downright dangerous. If you live here, expect a fire alarm to go off at LEAST once a week.
Bottom line, no horror stories here, but I would not recommend it. You can do a lot better for a significantly lower price. Consider this your last resort housing.
