Ha, don't even bother......

Years at this apartment: 1998 - 2000
While it is a nice area, convenient to shopping, public transportation, cleaners, movies (near Andorra). I have to admit, they have nice apartments, but don't let the apartment guide fool you. They have lots of problems. Let me see if I can summarize this for you.
1. The washers and dryers are constantly broken, there are approximately 50 apartments on each floor and only one washer and one dryer per floor.
2. You have to call 5-10 times to get things in your apartment fixed. I had to actually go to the bank, put my rent in escrow, have a screaming match with the landlord before things were fixed. I figured while they were fixing things and waiting for my rent, I'd better request that everything be done. One woman told me that she had been waiting one year for them to fix her stove. (I don't know what was wrong with her).
3. If there wasn't a fire alarm pulled at least twice a week, I'm lying. There were too many older people in the building who got tired of walking down the steps and out of their apartments (it was mainly 10-4:00 a.m. when the alarms went off). I got nervous thinking that one day there would be a real fire and they'd burn up. I, was always ready to get out of my bed to head outside. The firemen came numerous times, I swear they fined that building.
5. There are balconies but they face dumpsters. Speaking of dumpsters, why did they have dumpsters, anyway' Everyone threw their trash bags out the windows so they landed in the grass. A couple of times I had to get out of my bed thinking that someone was at my window, when in actuality, someone had thrown beer bottles from their windows and it landed near mine.
6. On either side of you is the famous Gary Barbera Dodge. On the one side that my window faced was his well lit. There was so much light coming from that parking lot, that a couple of times I thought that I had overslept and that it was about 12:00 p.m. It was horrible. I understand that a lot of complaints were sent to the courts regarding his lots, but they went unheeded.
7. Last but not least, speaking of Gary Barbara, his trucks were parked on the streets right in front of the apartment building so there was no parking for the tenants (if there was no room in our parking lot) and I saw many times were the tenants exiting the apartments parking lot would almost end up in accidents, because they couldn't see cars coming towards them from the right because of "his" trucks blocking their view.
