Haven't been living here long, but everything so far has been great. Everything is very clean and very nice. The elevators are pretty fast too, and at least so far, always working.

I was really surprised at all the negative reviews. What usually happens is everything looks nice at the beginning, but you find out you got shortchanged on the little details. But for me, all those little details turned out to be better than I hoped.

The front desk/doorman are very friendly and learned my name within a day. I buy a ton of stuff online, and there has been no problem with receiving packages.

The building (or at least my apartment) is surprisingly quiet. I don't know much about how sound carries, but it might be because the units aren't just separated by a wall. I was fooling around with the panels one day, and found my neighbors and I were separated by 1-1.5 feet of empty space between our walls.

The only downsides are (1) it's a bit pricey for the square footage, (2) a lot of the units don't have a great view, and (3) my shower water changes temperature unexpectedly (probably when someone connected to my water lines flushes a toilet).

The fire alarm does go off occasionally, but it wasn't too loud or too long.

Personally, I plan to stay until I either decide to buy a house/condo to build equity or leave Philadelphia altogether.

I don't know about the parking situation though. One of the reasons I chose to live in Center City was I wouldn't need a car. And haven't had any maintenence issues either.
