Duffield is a great apartment building, the rent is great compared to other apartment complexes in the area and includes all utilities. they have new heating and air conditioning with a box in each room and the heat works really well and so does the air. maintinence is pretty good if you have a problem they fix it quickly. However if they have a list of a lot more serious problems and you have a broken light bulb it might take them a week or so to get to it. I am always able to find a parking space no matter what hour i get in and there are lots of entrances to the complex so no matter where you park you are fairly close to an entrance. The apartments are very roomy and there is a lot of space, i really enjoy the big kitchen. My favorite thing is the water pressure in the showers, you wont appreciate it unless you've had a crappy shower, but there is very high pressure in teh showers if you want it, but you can also turn the knobs so that its not so high, and there is always hot water, in the few years ive been here ive never had a cold shower. I also have not had any problems with noise, its fairly quiet here i dont hear my neighbors too often, but i do live on a corner apartment so that might make a difference, but i have friends that live next to people and you can hear them sometimes, but its never been a problem. All the neighbors are very friendly. I always have a nice conversation in the elevator. And the maintenence men that are here regularlly are very nice as well, the lady at the front desk always remembers your name and so do some of the maintenece men if you get to know them. i know i sound like im being paid to advertise this building, but im not i really do like it this much.
