i live here for a year and i hated it...the building is falling apart...my apartment had mice...management sucks...my car got broken into there..there is no type of security in or around the building...the maintenance people sucks...dishwasher never worked...the hallways look like the bates motel...the size of the rooms are ok...thats about it...thats the only positive things i can say about it...this place is garbage...go fairmount terrace if u want to live near city ave...i hope everyone in the duffield moves out...their is a lot of age discrimination in that building as well..so if u r younger (under 25) and u make a squeak everyone is gonna complain..whatever u do..do not move here...its absolutely triffling...no amenities besides all paid utilities..they are raising rent..and tryin to renovate now because everyone is complaining..its still gonna be a hot mess...its a dirty place to live...they have the loudest trash pickup in the world..every night when you are sleep...very inconsiderate...DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The building is falling apart. There's extensive water damage throughout and the ceilings are cracked and almost caving in as a result. The hallways are dark, the carpet in the hallway is filthy and the staff in the leasing office is very unprofessional. They talk negatively about other residents and joke them in front of new residents in the office. A big sign that the building is dirty, is the swimming pool outside that was left uncovered until almost Nov. Leaves were all in the pool, moss/algae was growing inside of it and the water was green, then it turned brown from just sitting open, while other pools in the area were long covered and cleaned. Duffield house is very unclean.

There is no age discrimination. I'm a young resident and if you lived in the apartment i live in sandwiched between idiotic college kids you would know what disturbance is.
