My wife and I are actively trying to break our lease because we are tired of the fire alarm going off, at least once a week and sometimes very late at night. We were told by a student who was moving out to keep looking and we did not follow the advise, I wish we had. They do have problems with mice. I have trapped two of them plus they have a bug problem. Janet is nice, she works the front desk. But the fire alarm and the elevators are real problems. You'll never be able to study at home which has been difficult. The only reason we had a good deal on the apartment was due to the fact we had non-renovated room all the prices are higher now so that incentive is not there.

Hi, I'm a 22yearold student and working professional originally from the suburbs of Philly. I moved to this community last year and I've found that this community is great. Sure, no complex will be completely perfect - but compared to the other buildings I've researched and toured Duffield House Apartments is great!
Kathy and Janet work really hard to accomodate to the needs of the tenants..
Tenants have use of the new gym, swimming pool, free parking - all utilities included - there's not much more you could ask for! The community is definitely great - There's no place like Duffield House Apartments!

This place is terrible. The fire alarm goes off at 6:00 AM at least once a month and we have mice NIGHTLY in an apartment that is clean. Disgusting. Don't move here.

i live in duffield. the fire alarm sucks. its goes off very frequently since they installed the new system 6 months ago. apparently they are replacing all of the sensors in the halls which should be done in 2 months but well see what really happens. my apartment is nice. the management are very nice and enjoyable to work with! they are also quick to fix something that went wrong provided you ask. some of the people who live here are rather annoying (honking their horn outside at 3 in the morning for 30min then starting to yell that they forgot they're key) my only true complaint is the fire alarm. theres been times its gone off 5 days in a row late at night or early morning. all utilities included is a nice deal compared to the surrounding apt buildings. if the alarms were fixed i would recommend this place!
