Duval Manor

I currently live in duval on the 8th floor and our apt has like the first dishwasher ever made, also the vents make so much noise in the winter its hard for you to even sleep.We have an air conditioner thats only 10 BTU and when ever we turn it on , the electricity goes out. WHAT A SHACK!!!!!!!!!! Dont get me wrong it is ok for the price, but you will always be hot in the summer, if you have the same problems i have, as far as the winter, my apt was always cold, we had to buy a heater... Also be aware of the robberies that are now being committed in the back of the building. I cant understand why managment havent fixed the light, which goes off when you walk up instead of staying on and also there is a tree that needs to be cut down. Management is nasty,they just want your money, Also the video cameras does not work, it is a fake. my lease is up in feb, i cant wait to get out of there. The building is pretty quiet, but i hear the 6 floor is loud, i guess that is where the most of the younger tenants live.In additon, my car was hit so hard by one of the other tenants, that it cause my window to shatter and no one left a note, but i see another car with a dent in the front and the front light is out, and here i cant even file a police report because i didnt see it happen. I would advise you not to move in there if you dont have to. one more thing, when my boyfriend washed his clothes the roaches fell out of hs clothes from the laundry room. utterly disgusting.... DONT DO IT UNLESS YOU HAVE TO, THE BUILDING IS GOING DOWN....
