I thought I would like it in this building because of the lovely looks, hardwood floors, great view, super location, safe neighborhood.
Think again! The rent is obscene and keeps getting worse. They just raised it by $70, almost a 10% increase. I am trying to get out now. All of the other comments on here are entirely true - the globs of paint everywhere, mice, either freezing or boiling, terrible water pressure, slow elevators.
The only nice things I can say is that it's very quiet and I feel safe. But if I could do it over again, I would _not_ move into the Embassy.
P.S. Right now they are trying to "upgrade" the appearance of the building to attract higher-paying renters. Don't be deceived!! You will be sorry.
