Not bad

My junior 1-BR is not nearly as bad as the reviews here would have you believe. It's spacious, quiet, well-heated, and relatively inexpensive for the size and location. I've lived here for about 6 months and never seen a roach/mouse. I had some problems with my electricity when I first moved in, but it was quickly fixed when I put in a maintenance request.
One of the two elevators is ugly as hell, with tons of scratched-in graffiti. They buffed and refinished one of the elevators after I moved in and it looks great - wonder why they haven't done the second one yet. It's a real eyesore and embarrassing when I have guests, but not such a big deal in the grand scheme of things.
Management and maintenance are generally responsive to requests. Doormen are pretty lazy - they don't stop anyone from coming in and they don't open the door for you at night when the front doors are locked, which can get annoying when I have to struggle with my bike.
Pros: spacious, location, good price
Cons: old kitchen appliances; bathroom hasn't been redone in decades; electricity is old and blows out if you run too many appliances
