Poorly maintained

Years at this apartment: 2008 - 2009
The building is poorly maintained and occasionally smelly. The corridors are dirty. The painting job was never good to begin with and it also chips. They do not fix damage, they just paint over it. In 10 months we had mice twice in our apartment despite our keeping the apartment very clean.
The best thing about this building is the people who work at the front desk. They are very friendly and helpful.
The fire alarm system occasionally goes off--when it does, you cannot stay in the apartment because it is really loud. It went off twice in the winter, one time it was 1 AM in the morning.
Overall, it is not good value for the money they are asking!
