From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 9/12/2007 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007 1 response   If you want to live with goverment housing, mental health, crackheads and child molesters then this is the place to live espically on the "B" side of the building. I have been living here for about 9 months and I cant wait to move out of this dump. When I cam to tour the property the woman from the leasing office really jerked me on the apartment and sold me based on telling me that only classy people live here that was a lie. Don't get me fooled by the looks of this place because they are trying to fix it up, you would not think it was so bad and dirty until you move in. The first day I moved in the elevator did not work so I had to pay my movers over time for moving my furniture up the stairs. The stairway smells like cat and dog piss the fire alams go off at least once a week in the middle of the night 3am waking you up for a false alarm. If something gets broke in your apartment you can forget about maintence coming to fix it they are the worst my neighbor told me that she had roaches and the exterminator nor anyone from the office came to help until a month later. NOt to mention the girl down the hall from me someone jimmied her front door to try and break in and when she complained to the office all they did was change her locks they did not even make a police report and would you believe that they are now requiring renters insurance for the residents I guess so after all of the car vandilism and theft around this place the grocery store and the dry cleaners have been robbed several times by gun point the management did not even have enough respect to tell the residents about the insident so that we can be aware. Just so happen I got on the elevator and I over heard two other residents talking about how shady that was not to tell everyone about what happened. The maintence supervisor/landlord his name is welton he tries to talk to all the young girls who live here at empirian projects, it was said that he was sleeping aorund with one of the girls who work at the front desk the girl who has a beard I am not sure if she still works her but he also is married with children and is a big time drug dealer and her also runs an after hour spot where people can come and do their drugs and get lap dances at. This place is such a rat hole not to mention I went on the local website for Megans Law and there are over 40 residents men and women who live here that are pedophiles so if you have children BEWARE!!! The air conditioners dont never work properly and they over charge you for electric.Not to mention all of the noise from the college students and crackheads who live here. You have to pay for parking if you want to get a spot if not you are forced to park under trees where local crackheads come on the property and break into your car or robb you. THey have the nerve to call it Empirian Luxury Towers it more like empirian public housing projects. THey allow people here to walk there dogs without a leash pitbulls, saint benards, greyhounds now how ghetto is that I am very scared of dogs so I complained to the office about that and all they had to say is that they are sorry. WHat they need to do is contact all of the dog owners and tell them that they will face a fine if they dont obey by the rules. The laundry room thats a real big joke as well, people leave there clothes in the washer and dryer for days at a time leaving less washers and dryers to be used. I have to remove other poelple wet clothes so that I can clean my own, I also have to spray down the washer and dryer before i put my clothes in it because the washer and dryer have a funny smell to it like mildew. I cant wait for my lease to be up this year has been the worst for me I feel like I am living in the projects dont get me wrong there are all types of races and people that live here but if you asked them what they thought about empirian projects they would tell you the SAME TRUSE ME!
