Let me start of by saying I wouldn't recommend English Manor to bum. The apartment is spacious but there is strings, paper and other thing on the hardwood floors underneath the shoody sealant job on the floor. Against the the walls there is a line of brown paint on the floor nothing in the apt. is brown. There is a million coats of paint on the walls. It's bubbly and very unattrative. The basement where the laundry room is looks like a scene of out a horror movie. It is so dark, scary, wet, and dirty that I used the facility once. I would much rather go else where to do laundry. In the one year I've been here there has been four different managers. The first one was a B-I-T-C-H. The he second one was a uptight illiterate drunk who was also a tenent. While he was manager Three apts were broken into on Christmas Eve with A KEY!!!!!!! There is no security cameras and the door buzzer system is a joke. The dumpsters are always overflowing with garbage. If your trash bag happens to fall out on to the ground the managment goes through it(to see who it belongs to) and charges a $50 removal fee. Isn't that the craziest thing you ever heard of'! The elevator is alway out of commision. We have been waiting for a new motor for it for months now. The heat is unbearable. If i turn the radiators on on Monday the heat doesn't actually work until Thursday. When it does come on its a hundred degrees. There is a huge cat that romes the hallways and often sits outside of my door. The maintinance team is the worst. One guy is a fall over drunk the others are fat and lazy. I wouldn't want to live here again ever in life even if it was free.
