Love this place!

This apartment building doesn't look like much from the outside - but from the moment you step into the lobby you'll see that this place is very well taken care of. I have a studio apartment here at ET; I've looked at other studios within the other buildings from the same complex and this one is one of the biggest. Definitely not bad for a single person such as myself. The balcony gives the studio a larger/airier feel to the apt. All utilities are included except electric and cable of course. I was a bit worried about what the electric bill would be, but because they buy their electricity in bulk from PECO - the electric bill is very cheap! Usually under $20 a month, and I keep the air running all summer and the heat running all winter!
Also, they have cement all over so there is very little to no sound transfer between apartments. All in all, it is a quiet and peaceful place to be. The building is right off Roosevelt Blvd and since I take public transportation, it is very convenient for me. Maintenance usually comes the same day I call; the only time it took a long while was when I needed the shower head replaced - it took about a week but that's because they had to order the part.
My favorite thing about this building is that every tenant has their own elevator key - if you're not living here, you can't get in. There is a doorman in the lobby 24/7 and they must let you in if you don't have a key. Also the stairwells only open from the inside - so no outsiders can try to get in from outside. Which is a very big plus for me, being a single 20-something female living by myself.
My only complaint is the shower - it gets very [SCALDING] hot for no apparent reason while I'm showering. If I'm not careful, I can get burned! Which has happened about twice already. I've learned how to dodge the line of fire when the water temperature changes suddenly. Haha!
