The Executive House has been my home for 5 years. Good & so-so...here they are:
GOOD: Convenient location. Awesome views of the Philly skyline or the Western burbs...depending on which side of the building you live on. Less money for a similar apartment than in Center City Philly. New kitchens (cabinets and appliances), elevators, common areas, pool area and offices. The R-5 train/Overbrook Station is at the foot of the driveway...making the 30th Street Station with its AMTRAK connection...only about 15 minutes away. Under the building, guarded, gated assigned parking...included in the rent. Concierge/front desk manned 24/7/365. Responsive management; property manager lives on-site. Front desk staff accepts packages, signs for mail and has your cleaning sent out and gets it back.
So-So: St. Joseph's University dorm next door can be somewhat noisy late at night. Jewish yeshiva (school) next door sometimes has loud singing, outside, late at night, on high holy days.
On balance: A bargain and a nice place to call home. I'm lovin' it!
