GOING DOWNHILL FAST

The place is becoming a dump: windows that don't fit so the wind howls through and management doesn't even have replacement windows, water coming through the walls and flooding many apartments (the management knows that the siding is coming away from the building but will NOT put the 3 to 4 million into repairing the building; wonder when L&I-Licences and Inspections for Philadelphia will close the place down'), the elevators break down more than they should, the office manager and her assistant are rude to the residents and treat us like vermin, the bathroom cabinet doors are made of pressed paper and are falling apart and, in order to save money, management has turned off the ventilation system on each floor, so, nasty cigarette smoke and foul cooking odors pollute the hallways. Couple that with rents going up $200 a month and more and I had to leave after five years there. Best thing I ever did was to move out. Don't let the slick photos fool you. Beware.
