When I first moved in I over looked the lack of maintance. The grounds, the overflowing dumpsters. My kitchen had broken cabinets that for two years the management claimed they were going to replace "next week". The rent increased 5% every year but my place wasn't getting any better. The washer and dryers were always broken, maybe 3 worked per floor, 4 floors, 45 apartments per floor.

The landlord owns other properties in Philadelphia, it is now clear that my rent money went to the upkeep of the other "higher profile" apartments.

With the right management company, look across the street, this complex could be a jem. However it seems that management doesn't care about their tenants nor the building itself.

i, I agree with u if the manager is a thief. She cheat on the bill and doens't care even u complaint to her.
