WORST RENTAL EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!

The building is falling apart and the "Management" (The main woman is also the owner, but she will try to trick you as it is in her husbands name - every building owned by these frauds is equally a nightmare. See also: strawberry court) will hunt you down NASTILY if you complain about ANYTHING.

The roof leaks, the windows leak, nothing in the building is sealed - but if you complain, the management will claim that it is YOUR fault and not that of the building. Repairs are made very shoddily with spackle and caulk and do not last.

Security is lax as the "gated parking" is always broken.

The pool is filthy and never usable.

Utilities are the responsibility of the tenant but are run by a non-Peco/PGW mystery company that the landlady's husband also owns - and are NEVER billed to actual usage (after not having used gas heat I was billed $90/month for gas from having cooked on the stove a handfull of times).

The building is NOT firesafe (this can be verified by pulling a free violations report at the municipal services building) and the elevators are constantly broken.

Parking is AWFUL, there are no spaces open after 8 pm and cars park haphazardly in fire lanes. Random and unannounced towings clear up the parking lot, but who does that to their tenants''

Renting here would be the biggest mistake you could make. With so many other buildings in the area, there is no reason to rent here (even if the floorplans are large and spacious - you will have no piece of mind!). The landlady Esther is a liar and a thief. She is constantly being sued by her tenants. Talk to anyone in the building and they will tell you to do anything you can to avoid living in this hellhole.

Your rent money could be much better spent and your self-respect and piece of mind are NOT worth the cost.

This building has cars that get broken into constantly. There is shards of glass in the parking lot from people breaking into cars and the glass is a hazard for my dog to walk over or for someone to get cut. If the management (Esther Schwartz) wanted less cars getting robbed she might want to start by fixing the lights outside because she does not and it is always dark outside. Dark is perfect for a car theif or maybe the Fairmount Park Rapist and Killer whose sign is on America's Most Wanted on billboards over town and on PCOM campus, after all a student was killed by a murder/rapist at 3901 Conshohocken Ave and he has not been caught.
