I have been here since March 2007 and yes there has been alot of work going on and it was not convienent however I must say the managemet has changed for the better over the summer and the place is looking better. When I approced Genivive in the office she confirmed what I suspected. The roof was deteirorated and had to be replaced as well as the old airconditioning on the roof. Since these repairs and the facelift on the place we are happy to see that someone is finally fixing this place up. The old owner did nothing. I complained to them for a year about leaks and issues and they did nothing. Finally I am living under a new roof. We welcome the change and improvements.

I will comment only on the spelling from "Anonymous". The property manager's name is Genevieve, not Genivive. Oh, and one more thing "Anonymous", I don't hate Genevieve.

I second 1Nightingale. Genevieve actually, for the first time, puts a kind and humane face to this property! Sorry for your problems, but I have never had a bad experience with our thankfully new manager. After having experienced the Esther blitzkrieg for quite a while, we finally have an emotionally stable and sweet person who LISTENS to you and tries her best to get things done.
If I am going to find anything appalling, it is the disgusting way some of the tenants treat this building. Maybe they have good credit to get an apartment, or maybe their parents co-signed the lease, but some tenants treat this building as they would their childhood bedroom or a dorm. Guess what, folks? This is a building that everyone has to share. So, leaving your bags full of kitchen garbage in the laundry rooms or stairwells, is not what upscale tenants do. Neither is scratching out words into the metal facing or panelling of elevators, as kindergartners might do on impulse. Acting considerate such as closing doors quietly and playing music at a decent volume makes apartment living actually liveable. Management can only do so much. We have to do the rest!!!!
