This is the worst apartment I've ever lived in. This place also contains a rude, unorganized, uncaring office staff, as well as a well-meaning, but poorly skilled maintenance crew. The place was FALLING APART! My a/c would break down multiple times every summer..and always during every heat wave. My heat would break down every winter multiple times especially when it was coldest. Last winter when it was 20 degrees out, they didn't fix the heat for a WEEK! Unfortunately, I was unaware that there is a branch of state government you can call about this (it's illegal for them to not provide you w heat). So the a/c and heat would break all the time, and I'd come home from work w the system pumping it's hardest all day trying to reach the temperature it was set at. It would be the middle of winter and I'd arrive home to find it blasting cold air! Hence my electric bill was through the roof! And for nothing! After much nagging, they "compensated" me with $76. Gee, thanks. They finally replaced the a/c when I was MOVING OUT! A great deal of good that did for me. After not having air or heat for 2 years I was thrilled to be interrupted while packing by random workers replacing the unit. BTW, the worker who replaced it told me that they were having him put in the cheapest unit on the market, and that the place was notorious for cutting corners at all cost.
There was WATER DAMAGE EVERYWHERE on the ceiling and walls. My bedroom ceiling leaked whenever it rained hard causing me to have to put pots and pans throughout my room. My carpet was wet, the leakage ruined many of my possessions: lamp, radio, pillows, jewelry, books, etc. They did nothing. They would constantly "fix it" by spackeling the cracks and just spray painting over it. All of this went on for the 2 years I lived there. Not to mention the hordes of 1000 legged bugs that would come out of our air vents.
My car randomly had its tires stabbed out in the parking lot! I wasn't the only one. There would be 1 or 2 cars every month sitting in the parking lot w flat tires. I reported it to the office, but they resolved nothing, and it just continued to happen. Parking is very difficult to get as well. I'd often have to park in the adjoining neighborhood and walk home in the dark after work.
Our fridge leaked everywhere and kept nothing cold. Our kitchen shelves fell down. I could hear every single noise from adjoining neighbors; what t.v. show they were watching, what they were saying, them snoring, them slamming cabinets, etc.
In summary, the place was GHETTO! If you want the quality of Forest Station, you may as well move to a less desirable area and pay HALF as much!

This is another Galman Group owned property. Maintenance in other Galman properties is the same, either delayed or absent. Galman Group is very good at collecting your money and providing substandard housing.
