Yo!

no--you won't get your security deposit back!

This is the worst apartment building I have every lived in!

1. We had a mice problem. We saw them in the bathrooms, our bedrooms, on the kitchen counters. Maintenance did absolutely nothing about it, except one time, put down on a block of some stuff that was supposed to get rid of mice, but lucklly for us, we had a cat by that time, which killed so many, I stopped counting.

2. The maintenance people were friendly, but generally unhelpful. Half of them didn't know how to speak English, and the one that did, was kind of weird. He would say that he was available, and then he would disappear and we couldn't find him.

3. The landlord was never around. The only time that she was around was when it was time to pay rent, and when people were moving in. At least five calls went unreturned. Very unprofessional.

4. The apartment fell apart, and any time anything went missing, like outside of our apartment, they charge you for it. So, if someone breaks the entranceway light to your building, they charge you for it. We were charged for things that they should have taken care of.

5.We didn't get our security deposity back. In fact, because we didn't give the landlord a sixty-day notice, we were forced to pay an extra month's rent, and they are keeping our security deposit.

6. The landlord would never be able to get away with this in a all-white neighborhood. Both properties that are owned by this woman, Forrest Village and English Manor have received some of the worst reviews that I have ever heard.

7. We were charged for the hallway globe outside of our apartment building being missing! Now, please ask me how we can control that going missing.

8. We cleaned up the apartment upon leaving, but were still charged money for the cleaning.

9. If you don't give a sixty-day notice, you are automatically enrolled(per the lease) in a month-to-month lease where the rent goes up.

10. The maintenance lied to us, and told us that they didn't have a high turnover rate, but when we lived there, we knew of at least 10 people that moved out,and that was just in our building!

Please don't even consider either one of these apartment buildings. Please spread the word that these places should be avoided at all costs! 3mPoZ6gGN6wTPgNi4L2C
