Honest Opinion: Good Not the Greatest

I HAD to give a review because the ones before this were a little too spectacular....Okay.. i have lived here for 4 years and it does have it's good qualities...and of course it's bad.
#1( ): I feel realtively safe. As a single woman, I enjoy the fact that I am in a high rise building.
#1 (-) The whole time that I have lived here the "security code" has been EXACTLY the same... what does that mean' that any person who has ever lived here knows the code.
#2 ( ) The staff (front desk) people are VERY nice and maintenance has gotten A Lot better... in previous years you would make numeruos request before something got fixed... it is MUCH better now. When I had to get floors repaired before they did a Horribly cheap job but, things have improved in that area.
#2 (-) The floor I live is not as newly painted, carpeted or lighted as well as the only two other floors in the building that have been revamped... I am pretty sure that we all pay the same rent.
#3 ( ) I don't have mice.
#3- I know that the building has a problem with mice from other complaints of tenants and from the mice that used to hang out frequently and freely when I lived on the other side of the building.
#4- Yes there is a garden upstairs and it is a NICE concept but... a breeding ground for misquitos is more like it and in the early spring / summer there was a rat problem there. May have be fixed (let's hope so but, I didn't want to know.
#4 You ALWAYS get your mail.
#5 - Sometimes things get stolen from the hallways, laundry room (four pairs of sweat pants bottoms, a CUTE pair of jeans, and a skirt) in all the time I have lived here and sometimes they get returned(a load of laundry the other day :)(someone else's)
#5 My apartment is huge. It has charm and is really nice. The bathroom is SMALL and the kitchen is not really big. There is ample closet space (that says a lot for me).
#6 My apartment is QUIET. It is rare if ever that I hear noise.
#6 - In the winter is either freezing in you apartment or blazing. Not too much of a happy medium.
#7 / The neighborhood doesn't have a grocery store that is clean within walking distance and some nights street parking sucks but, in all honesty I have never really been afraid.
Overall, I have had a relatively good experience, things could be A LOT better but they could damn sure be A Lot worse.
I would recommend it but, with a disclaimer.
Oh, and the shuttle feature to Penn is a nice little bonus.
