My experience living at the Garden Court Plaza has been good and bad. On the positive side, the neighborhood is quiet and safe, the studio apartment I have is huge and they installed new floors and an entire new kitchen before I arrived. The front desk staff are extremely nice. However, on the bad side, I have had problems with the pipes in my apartment for the entire year. My kitchen sink drains very slow and I have had maintenance come out at least 7-8 times this year to fix it, however the problem still has no been solved. They refuse to do a thorough job of going into the pipes in the wall to figure out what is going on. I also had my shower and bathroom sink back-up and had to get them to come fix those. I have also had mice under my kitchen and bathroom sinks. The windows are not insulated at all and do not close all the way so cold air continuously seeps in. Overall, it has been an ok experience in that the amount of space and the parking garage are great features, however the lack of maintenance have led me to find another place to live.
