Not nearly as bad as people are making it out to be.

I've lived her for three years with my wife in the Canterbury building and even though we are divorcing and moving apart, I still plan to stay within the community.

The only problem I have had my whole time here was at when point when I had two cars and was in the process of selling one. I came home one day and saw a big orange tow sticker on the window of one of my cars.
When I went in and said that both cars were registered to my apartment, Bonnie got really rude with me and told me it was because my inspection sticker was expired and that I had until the next morning to get the car off of the property before the tow truck came. I told her that I had sold the car on ebay and someone was coming up from MD in 3 days to buy it but she just kept her attitude and told me I had until the next morning and that was final. I ended up just parking the car in the park (around the corner) until the tow truck came through and got all of the stickered cars and then I brought it back. No one noticed. ;]

Aside from that though, the only other complaint I've had is regarding the washer/dryer.
Overall I would say it's a very safe community but one night, someone came through and stole the laundry card machines from each building. Instead of just taking the loss, they increased the cost of a load from $1.50 to $1.75. So basically we have to pay for security's incompetence.

The trains are loud if your windows are open but otherwise you won't even notice them.

Easy access to I-95, I-76 and public transportation. Sunoco, Acme, BJ's , Blockbuster and plenty more are very close.

As far as the gym and pool: you'd be better off getting a membership somewhere else, unless you feel okay to pay a premium price to have it right there.

Plenty of parking out back. Out front, not so much but I prefer not to park there anyway because of the golf balls coming over the fence from FDR golf course.
