I have been a resident at the Grandview for just over 6 months now, and I am amazed by some of the negative comments that have been left. The location is fantastic: surrounded by excellent restaurants, just minutes from everywhere because of its proximity to 676 and the subway, and walking distance from City Hall, Reading terminal, and the Constitution Center. Though the building does not have its own parking, there are several lots in the area. Personally, I park across the street for 120.00 a month, which is very low by center city standards. Though the apartment is small, there is a nice gym (which is never crowded), washer/dryer on every floor, 24 hour security, private recycling, and basement storage. The maintenance staff is very friendly, and the security guards are efficient. For the most part, the community in the building is quiet and pleasant, and the second floor banquet area can be rented out for parties or holidays. This is a fine apartment building, one of the few in Philadelphia that are both reasonably priced and centrally located. I would encourage everyone looking for an apartment to consider the Grandview.
