I'm writing this to back up the person who wrote about the noise problems at Hill House. As that person wrote, the walls between the apartments are most certainly paper thin. You will hear every little thing your neighbor says and does, from when his/her alarm clock goes off in the morning, to talking on the phone, to sneezing. You name it, you can hear it. Do not believe the comment from the person who claimed that he/she couldn't hear anything and lived on the side near the railroad tracks. I am quite certain that was written by one of the staff. In fact, I lived on the other side of the railroad tracks and could hear the trains go by on a regular basis. Other noise problems include always hearing doors open and close from the hallway.
In addition, Hill House goes through managers quicker than a fast-food place, and most of them have no idea what they are doing. Random fire alarms frequently go off in the building and they are ear-piercingly loud. In addition, the elevator breaks down on a regular basis.
One other thing is that most residents at Hill House are elderly, and I mean, really elderly. It generally has the feel of a depressing retirement home. If you are under fifty, this will get to bother you after a while.
This is not to say that Hill House has no amenities. It is located in a very nice part of Chestnut Hill, and underground parking (if you can get it), is very convenient. The apartment itself is spacious, and they do indeed pay for all utilities. Still, the common consensus of residents is that Hill House is going downhill rapidly, and I would strongly recommend against renting there.
