My experience at the Iroquois has been pretty bland I guess. As far as the apartment goes, I really like it. I'm just glad that nothing major or catastrophic has happened or else it would have never been taken care of as the management is pretty crappy. I'm going to try to give an accurate list of pros and cons
Cons:
Management is horrible, slow to do anything, and really just not highly functioning.
Ladybugs randomly get into your apartment
The garage is downright scary.. quiet, dark, the cars are poorly parked and the elevators never work and the stairs access is also dark and scary
the "security guards" are old men who aren't that friendly
you are forced to get cable from a shady company that doesn't even have its own website and you can never get in touch with them (same goes with the utility company.. and utility bills are way too high)
no microwaves in kitchens (not a big deal but whatever)
The elevators seem to break a couple of times a month
Pros:
The apartment (2br/2ba) is spacious
huge beautiful picture windows and a good city view if your on the right side
convient location (across from acme, olive garden, chilis, la fitness, eckerd etc)
street parking is reasonably easy to find and I've never had problems with break-ins, vandalism, etc
fairly modern kitchens
very quiet (at least in my experience) I very rarely hear or see my neighbors
its a decent mix of residents-- some older folks, some college kids, some middleaged business types
I feel safe here
public transportation is convient from this location
overall, its not the best place i've ever lived but its decent. I think the price is ok for what you get, but the management is genuinely bad.

Iroquois is under new Management as of April 1st. The garage has new lights and other plans are in the works for renovations.

So, it's been a few years since I've written that review. Management has changed, and they got rid of that Frankie character. The new management seems to be more on the ball with things. I still like my apartment. It's spacious and affordable. I've lived here for almost 3 years now. Again, it's not Rittenhouse Square, but it's a pretty decent place in a great location at a pretty good price... so yeah.
