I have lived here for over one year and when I first moved in the leasing agent was a really nice person. However, a few months ago they got a new lady to work for them and she is a total nightmare. She will be very rude to you and not help you out. My bath tub was clogging up and I asked her to have it fixed repeatedly. She not only refused to help me but said that that the tub was clogged because I used it so therefore I should pay to get it fixed. They have not fixed a thing since I have been in here. I have had to call my own repair man to fix anything wrong in the apartment. The hot water lasts for about ten minutes and then runs out. If you go to work at 7-10am, forget about taking a shower in the morning. You will freeze your butt off as the hot water runs out in mere minutes.
There are also mice in the apartment. I never cook and am out most of the day, but still find a mouse in my apartment at least once a week. The trash chutes are clogged on a daily basis and you will need to go to the street to throw your trash.
The street this building is located on is not safe at all. Although there is underground parking (for $50 a month) most residents park on the street. There have been 3 robberies in the area since I have moved in, two of them on N. 47th Street.
There is a constant smell of cooking in the hallways and the elevators are frequently out of order.
However, once again, the worst part about this place is the new blonde leasing lady they have. She is a nightmare to work with. I have always been really nice to her despite her rude attitude towards me, but she is just something out of a very bad dream. Six other residents from this complex have complained about her to management and it is a wonder she is still employed here.
If you want to live in a nice place with no drama, DO NOT CONSIDER IROQUOIS. It was the worst mistake I ever made in moving here. Can't wait to leave.

Amazing! I dont know who this writer is referring to, but this is not the Leasing Manager we know here. Since new management has come in, we (and I speak for a great number of friends and neighbors in the building)have had a great change and the "blonde lady" has been a lifesaver after the last manager. You can ask anyone living here-really!! Maintenace is getting much better and the manager stays on top of things to make sure they get done. Mice-no. Elevators are working fine and we haven't had the problems like in the past.
Maybe this is someone that is unhappy because they asked her to leave?!

If you think there are no mice here you must like to have them as pets because everyone I have come across in Iroquois has had an encounter with the furry little things... You sound a lot like the manager here... isnt that illegal... posting fake good reviews for a place u manage... tsk tsk..
you are right my man about the last manager... she was great. not so sure about this new one.
